This week, we’re highlighting the amazing collection and inspirational vibes of @jeremyskicks to The Kingsland Shoe Project community! J’s passion for sneakers goes far beyond collecting - his content is filled with energy, adventure, and a deep appreciation for sneaker culture. Whether he’s capturing stunning shots around Northern California, rocking an insane lineup of Js and SB Dunks, or advocating for important social causes, his authenticity, love of life, and care for others shines through.
Jeremy’s posts radiate positivity—ending each one with “spread love, not hate”—and his adoration for his wife Jo shines brightly in everything he creates. His sneaker care game is just as strong, and we’re so proud he keeps his kicks fresh with our Fresh Flow Shoe Trees to maintain their shape and longevity.

Favorite sneaker of all time: There’s many that I don’t have but my favorites are the Jordan 4 Kaws , Jordan 1 Chicago, Jordan 3 Free Throws, And my collection of SB Dunks. Many of which my wife has gifted me over the years that are sentimental to me.
How did you get into sneakers: I was always into sneakers as a kid. The Converse All Star and my first all leather Nike x Vintage legend high tops circa 1983. I grew up playing basketball/ baseball since 3rd grade. Living in Oakland, California as a youth in one of the most diverse communities shaped me into a person who loved sneaker culture and community.
Favorite go-to pair: Some may not believe this given my extensive Jordan collection. My go to pair at the door is the Adidas Ultraboost 1.0. I own about 10 pairs. The comfort level and versatility for gym use make these my most worn pairs.
What shoe best embodies your style: It would have to be the Jordan 3 then Jordan 1. If I think too much, they’ll be ten silhouettes on this list 😂. The Jordan 3 was the first Jordan that really connected with me from the 1988 Dunk contest. A work of art IMO by Tinker. Since then, I’ve become a huge fan of the iconic Jordan 1. One of the best sneakers for pairing fits. I find them very comfortable as well.
Describe your shoe care regimen: My shoe care regiment starts with storage. You need to keep them organized with the proper trees. The Fresh Flow Trees are by far the best. They allow them to breathe after wearing them so they properly dry and they fit perfectly keeping the shape. After I wear my pairs, I clean them so they maintain their prestigious appearance and last. I wear my kicks which is also extremely important for a long life as I learned the hard way. I’ve also heard this from other sneaker enthusiasts whom I respect like @bboylaspin.
Other passions outside of sneakers and fashion: God, my wife, children and family are most important. I really like my job as an estimator/ project manager. I’ve worked on projects like Zoo’s and Animal rescue centers which coincides with my love for animals. We have two Yorkies that are a huge part of my life. I am also really into multiple genres of music. I have two decent sized YouTube pages jeremykirkf1 and jeremykirkf2 chronicling all of the 300 plus concerts I’ve attended. I know how many because I keep track of them on setlist.com 😂 such a nerd.
Random/fun/interesting fact: I like to draw and I have a fascination with ghost shows and reality tv. 🤷🏼♂️
