- For more narrow, layered, and padded shoe interiors, slightly turn Fresh Flow Shoe Trees to the side and compress the sides during insertion and removal to allow the width of the shoe tree to slide through narrow midfoot sections and settle perfectly into the toe box/vamp pocket. If the shoe interior is too tight for easy insertion and removal (with possibly a slight turn), size down on the Fresh Flow Shoe Trees for that particular shoe.
- When using Fresh Flow Shoe Trees, leverage the handy push/pull tab to ensure the single mold structure is pushed completely into the shoe. Once you feel the shoe tree hit the front of the toe box or stop sliding, remove your hand from the tab and press the top and sides of the shoe’s toe box to make sure the shoe tree is flush against the front and sides of the shoe interior.
- If there is space between the top of the toe box and the shoe tree, lightly push down on the pull/push tab so the front of the shoe tree elevates to support the top of your shoe interior.
- With shoe trees inside, set your shoes on a flat, supported surface for storage. Place the shoes in a temperature-controlled, uncluttered floor, rack, or storage space to ensure an ideal environment for material and structural care.
- When removing Fresh Flow Shoe Trees, push down on the push/pull tab before pulling out to ensure the bottom front edge clears the front of the footbed pad. Our shoe trees were designed with a gradual arch across the bottom that reduces snagging the front of the footbed pad but some foam/rubber inserts are thicker and can be pulled back and potentially damaged without pushing down on the push/pull tab before removal.
