Q: How did you get into sneakers?
My older brother pulled me into the sneaker world. He had this massive collection, Nike More Uptempos, Flightposites, Air Jordans, and when he didn’t want a pair, I got the hand-me-down. I still vividly remember my first Air Jordan 13 Flints from him, that was the spark. He even passed me his Jerome Bettis sneakers (he was a Steelers running back, aka “The Bus”). Those memories started it all.

Q: Favorite sneaker of all time?
The Air Jordan 3, no contest. It’s where design, story, and legacy intersect. Fire Red specifically holds a place in my heart.

Q: What are your favorite go-to pairs ? Shoes by your door ready to wear?
Jordan 1s and 3s, Chicago colors, Black Cements, Fire Reds. One pair of Yeezy’s boost 700’s They’re meant to be worn, not collect dust.

Q: What are some of your other passions / hobbies outside of sneakers?
I’m into photography, coaching athletes, and building a community around wellness. I love the process, whether it’s capturing a shot or helping someone hit a PR.

Q: Whats one random interesting fact about you?
I lost over 120 pounds and have kept it off for over a decade. That transformation taught me that every crease tells a story.

Q: Which artist or athlete do you think had the biggest impact on sneaker culture?
Jordan laid the foundation, but Kanye West shifted the emotional connection. One built the house, the other redecorated it.

Q: What pair in your collection always gets the most compliments?
The Jordan 3 Black Cement, every generation recognizes it. It’s iconic.

Q: What advice would you give someone just getting into sneakers?
Buy what speaks to you, not what trends dictate. Wear them. Learn their stories. The value is in the connection, not the resale.
